John Gernaat

When I was young, Jonny showed me what grace was all about. I had shot a deer and it ran into his field and died. I thought I would just drive over and pick it up with my truck. I ended up putting big trenches in the wet field and proceeded to get stuck. I called Jonny to help me get out and was so worried how angry he would be with me, but instead all he could do was talk about what a nice deer I had gotten and never said a word about how I had ruined his field. I will always remember the gracious and kind man he was!
