John Marshall Grant, 54, of Meadowbrook, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022, unexpectedly in his home.
He was born on August 6, 1967, in Wood River, IL, the son of the late Marshall and Anna Grant.
John worked with Grant Tree Service for the majority of his career. John enjoyed "tinkering", drawing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Matthew.
John is survived by his brothers, Peter (Karla) Grant, and Marc Grant; three half-brothers, Eddie Grant, Marshall Grant, and David Grant; four nieces and nephews, Deanna, Dylan, Devin and Dane; six great-nieces and nephews, Emma, Taz, Mila, Konner, Zarek, and Natalie; as well as many extended family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, from 4 pm until time of service at 7 pm, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Memorials can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
