John Grehn Obituary
John R. "Lefty" Grehn, 61 of Ashland passed away tragically on January 1, 2026.
He was born on September 5, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Donald Ross and Marijane (nee Dlouhy) Grehn.
Following his high school graduation, Lefty worked in retail for many years.
He is survived by one sister, Karen Rager of Las Vegas, Nevada; and many friends. His life would not be complete without mention of his beloved english pointer, Einstein.
Lefty is preceded in death by his loving parents.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Celebrant Trudy Bates presiding. The services will be livestreamed via the funeral home's Facebook page. Family and friends, may visit one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
For those who may not be able to attend, online condolences may be shared on the funeral home's website at denbowfh.com.
Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home & Crematory have been entrusted to handle the arrangements.
