Rest in peace, Johnny. You were my first friend in this country, and I, yours. I believe it was 1943 or 1942, Children's Colony summer camp.
Attached photo is from 1946 or 1947, Camp Ferosdal.
We were best friends for years, until college and marriage separated us.
