John Haddix Obituary
David is survived by his his wife, Fannie Jean Haddix. They had three children together: one daughter Melissa Haddix Moody (Lucien); two sons, Gregory David Haddix, and James Edward (Sue) Haddix.
Twelve grandchildren Brittany Mullins (Travis ), Cody Back, Brooklyn Duffey (Joe), Chase Haddix, Blake Haddix, Presley Back (Ted), Ruthie Haddix, Sophie Haddix (Jarrod), Lucien Moody III, Tailynn Haddix, Madison Haddix, and Alexia Haddix.
Six great grandchildren: Aubree Haddix, Harper Mullins, Greysen Mullins, Brooks Back, Rome Ryan and Langston Holbrook.
Pallbearers: Cody Back, Chase Haddix, Blake Haddix, Lucien Moody III, Joseph Duffey, Ted Ryan, and Lucien Moody.
Born the 7th of 12 children, Dave was preceded in death by 10 Haddix siblings: Gardner, Clifford, James, Silas, William, Donnie and Lonnie (twins), Bobby, Clint, and Joyce Haddix. He is survived by one sister, Emily Jackson.
He was a member of Hampton United Methodist Church, Jackson, KY.
Funeral will take place October 21, 2024 with Breathitt Funeral Home of Jackson in charge of arrangements.
Visitation: 11:00-1:00 PM
Funeral service: 1:30 PM
Pastor John Bunn, one of David's dearest and closest friends, will be officiating the ceremony.
