John Thomas Haley, Sr. was born July 2, 1948 in Pine Bluff, AR, the son of the late James T. Haley Jr. and Mary Gray Holmes Haley.
John's remarkable journey through life was marked by his unwavering dedication and love for his country and family. A proud veteran, he served in the United States Navy for 20 years, exemplifying the courage and commitment that defined his character. After retiring, he transitioned to a new chapter in life as a truck driver, where he found joy not only in the open road but also in the opportunity to connect with family.
Driving across the country in his big rig brought him immense joy, yet nothing compared to the precious moments spent visiting his beloved grandchildren. John also was an avid gardener who loved nature and the occasional fishing trip.
Whether he was sharing stories or indulging in his favorite recorded movies, John's spirit shone brightest when he was with family. His warmth, dedication, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
John departed this life on November 4, 2025 in Humboldt, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 4 Months, 2 Days.
