John Hanafin

One of my favorite teachers. He will be missed.

Condolences to the family. May the happy memories of a great father and teacher quickly fill the vacuum of his passing.

I did my Student Teaching under John Hanafin in the Spring of 1995, he was truly a Master Teacher. I learned so many things from him that has carried me through my own teaching career. A couple of quotes that I have tried to live by, " Do not take yourself too seriously," and "never let them see you sweat!" He was a GREAT mentor and friend to anyone that knew him. He will be sorely missed. RIP

So sorry to hear of John's passing, he will be united with Kim now and forever be a fond memory in our hearts. Sending condolences and prayers to the family.

Was a great teacher and better friend as I got older. Sold me my first set of cows as well. He pushed agriculture and helped everyone get in it. Will always remember his businesses philosophy for chickens "buy it by the pound and sell it by the piece like KFC that's why you never get a big piece of chicken.". You are gonna be missed but know how many of us you've changed our paths in life for the better. Thank you

John has been a friend for many years. His humor and like ability made it easy to care for him. I miss the days Don and I spent evenings playing games and with a group of friends, several of whom are now also gone. He is now with Kim in the Heavenly home for eternity. Our prayers are with Johnna, Sarah and Jason along with spouses and grandchildren.
