I met John at St. Mary in Waukesha when he was ushering. We always said good morning to each other. After covid hit, I hadn't seen John at mass for quite a while. I was at the Barber shop, getting my hair cut when John walked in. We started talking and got caught up, and John said that the reason I hadn't seen him at mass was because he could really drive anymore. I ask John if anyone was bringing him communion and he said no. I asked if he would like communion brought to him and he said that would be great. Well as it happens, I bring my folks communion weekly and John only lived one subdivision over, so it was nothing for me to stop by John's and ring him a bulletin and communion. I have been blessed for the last two years, to be able to bring our Lord to John and have our Sunday morning chats. I will miss him dearly and he will always hold a special place in my heart. He will always be in my daily prayers. My sincere condolences to Bill, Dianna and the whole family. John Norgord
