John is survived by his children, John, Hunter, and Hailie; his granddaughter Oaklynn; his wife Rebecca; his sisters, Lisa (Tim) Benden and Stephanie Hatton Lafferty; his brother Jody Hatton; and multiple Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
John was a concrete finisher with the Cement Mason Local #527 for nearly 20 years. He was an excellent finisher and took pride in his work. He thought of his crew members like family and kept that bond even after no longer working together.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and he took up running and hiking in the last year. He also enjoyed smoking meats and received multiple awards at competition for his food.
John was a great friend and will be remembered fondly by many people. He loved to cut loose and have a good time by dancing, singing karaoke, and just making people laugh. He will be missed.
Preceded in death by his parents, John F. Hatton, Sr. and Julie Ann Nichols Hatton, and his sister Christina Hatton.
John was cremated by Monarch Cremation with Hutchens Funeral Home. Please join us at a visitation from 10am to 12pm on Saturday December 23, 2023 to celebrate his life and share some stories. Service to immediately follow.
