John Haywood Obituary
Peacefully at his Westwood home, surrounded by his loving family who brought him so much joy, on Friday, November 3, 2023. John Frederick, age 90.
Beloved husband of the late Anna Haywood. Loving father to John (Susan) Haywood, Carol (Felix) Magnotta, Anna (the late Ronald) Vitali, Lisa (Robert) Shore, and the late Jeffrey (surviving spouse Donna) Haywood, and the late Mary (surviving husband Ronald) Klein, and the late Steven (surviving spouse Christine) Haywood. Dear Grandfather to Kimberly, Daniel, and Timothy Haywood, Tiffany (Kristen) Newton, Louis (Carly) and Christina Magnotta, Carolyn (David) Bland, Ryan Smith, Jeremy Klein and Jesse and Lukas Shore. Great grandfather to Sierra Haywood and Jack and Margaret Bland. Great-great grandfather to Warren Brooks Hall. Beloved Uncle of Art and Paul Groll. John also leaves behind his furry companion Skippy.
John's proudest accomplishment was his family, he took great pride in them. He worked tirelessly to support his family for over 50 years. John was an Army Veteran, who proudly served his nation.
Family and friends welcome Monday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM, in WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. 15220, where a blessing service will take place on Tuesday, at 11 AM. Burial to follow in Resurrection cemetery with military honors.
