John Herring Obituary
John's love for drawing was evident to anyone who knew him. Beyond his artistic endeavors, John had a passion for landscaping, arts and crafts, the outdoors and helping people with unwavering generosity.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald T. Herring; his mother, Sigrid Herring; and a brother, George Herring.
Mr. Herring is survived by three siblings, Ronald T. Herring Jr. and his wife, Kathy, Heidi Jarrell and her husband, Rob, and Herb Herring; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends.
The funeral for Mr. Herring is at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, in the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove with Brother Ben Underhill officiating.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

I I am a very sorry for your loss and heartache. I wasn't able to see John much this fall and winter because I have been ill. My heart is torn. Much love and many prayers to each of you. God bless.
