John Hetrick Obituary
Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late John and Marjorie Shealy Hetrick, Sr.
Pat graduated from Clemson with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1956. After a stint in the Army Corps of Engineers he worked for J.E. Sirrine, then Daniel Construction, and retired with the Flour Corporation. He was an outdoorsman who loved to flyfish, camp, and hike.
He is survived by son, John C. Hetrick (Kathy); daughter, Camille Wolfe (Ricky); grandchildren, Adeline, Shannon, Grant, Olivia, and John Walker; great-grandchild, Eloise; and sister, Marjorie Ann Chase.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concerned Citizens for Animals, P.O. Box 1332 Simpsonville, SC 29681, or [email protected].
