John G. Hilpert

John G. Hilpert, 92 of Berkeley Township passed from this life peacefully on Friday, December 22,2023 at his home surrounded by family. John was born July 24, 1931 in Hoboken to the late Gustave and Adele Hilpert. John was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed woodworking, watching classic movies, spending time with his family, and was a proud marine.
John is predeceased by his parents, Gustave Hilpert; Adele Eger Hilpert; daughter, Lynne Hilpert and sister, Cecelia Mahoney.
John is survived by his loving wife of over 69 years, Joan Koeppe Hilpert; son, John Hilpert and his wife Patricia; brother, Frank Hilpert; grandsons, Greg Tarantino; Michael Tarantino and wife Melissa; John Hilpert, Jr., and his wife Nicole; great grandchildren, Natalie Dominick; Gabriella; John Oliver and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. Committal Services will be held at 10am, Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Ocean County Memorial Park Cemetery, Toms River.
