John Hoolahan

Hoolahan, John, 94, longtime Bethpage resident, passed away April 18, 2025. Reunited in Heaven with the love of his life, Nancy. Beloved father of Elizabeth (the late Jack), Kathleen (the late David), Nancy Ann (Bob), Theresa (Ed) & John (Robin). Adored grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Survived by sister Ann; Predeceased by his dear brother Joseph & sisters Catherine & Betty. Proud Korean War Navy Veteran defended our country. John gave back to Disabled American Veterans by driving vets to medical appointments. John was Mr. Fixit! He loved woodworking & had a successful career with the NY Transit Authority. John loved spending time with his family, the littlest moments always meant the world to him. John will be forever missed. The family will receive visitors Thursday, April 24th from 4-8 pm, at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc, 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Friday, April 25th at 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Interment with military honors following at St. Charles Cemetery.
