My deep condolences to John's family and friends.
I grew up with John in Harvey, Illinois. He was a good neighbor and as we grew up we all scattered.
Good memories remain.
It's a bit far for me to get to the funeral, 4-5 hours each way, however my prayers, thoughts and memories are strong.
May our Lord give you peace and comfort.
