John Eric Howard

John Howard, 67, of Rosenberg Texas passed away on January 27, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. John was born on October 16, 1958 to parents Paul and Delores Howard in St. Louis, Missouri. He worked as a general contractor/builder for 40 years and owned his own business. John was a member of Fist Baptist Church, and displayed his faith as a devoted Baptist Deacon and Sunday school teacher. He enjoyed reading his Bible daily, using his BBQ smokers, and watching football games. He was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed woodworking along with his wife, Donna. John was also a talented soloist and a member of a church quartet.

He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Delores Howard, along with Susan Howard, Michael Howard, and Colleen Howard.

He is survived by his wife Donna of 43 years; son Shane Howard (Jasmin); siblings, Paul Howard, Kevin Howard (Mary) and Caren Benson (Dan).

A celebration of life service will be held at First Baptist Church of Richmond at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2026. Visitation for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service starting at 9:00 a.m.
