John Robert "Jack" Hriczo, age 77, of Hoschton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on November 14, 2025.

Jack was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late John Hriczo and Margaret Lipan Hriczo. He graduated from Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1971 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and later earned his master's degree in Engineering from West Virginia State.

While attending Indiana Tech, Jack met the love of his life, Barbara Clemens. They married in 1972 and shared 53 wonderful years together. His career in the pharmaceutical industry took them across the United States, and Jack eventually founded his own consulting company, Six Sigma, through which he worked both domestically and internationally for the decade leading up to his retirement.

Jack was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus and served as an officer in the Atlanta chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He was also deeply involved in youth soccer, coaching his children's teams and refereeing college matches.

A man of many passions, Jack enjoyed gardening, golfing, cooking, and boating on Lake Lanier. He was known for his energy, curiosity, and love of staying active.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara; his son, Anthony Hriczo of Granger, Indiana, wife Diana, and their sons Dylan, Anton, and Vadeem; his daughter, Sarah Hriczo of Braselton, Georgia; his son, Nathan Hriczo of Athens, GA, wife Ginger, and daughters Emme and Elle; his sister, Mary Jane Hermansderfer, and nephew Jon Hermansderfer of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and his sister, Irene Dios of Cumming, Georgia.

A private celebration of Jack's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's name to the Winshop Cancer Institute @ Emory Hospital, GA.
