John Blaine Hulick, age 72 of Lebanon, TN and formerly of Ludington, MI, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Betty Hulick; sister, Claudia Bursch; daughter, Deborah Cottle and grandson, Evan Hulick.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna (Dearwester) Hulick; children, Tracey (Jim) Chapman and Tim (Angela) Hulick; son in law, Christopher Cottle; grandsons, Austin, Levi and Brock Chapman; granddaughters, Makenna Hulick and Skyla Cottle; sibling, Lisa (Chris) Stebbins and numerous other loving family members.
John is remembered as a husband and father that put God first in his life and deeply cared for his family, church and friends. He was a loving and selfless caregiver for his wife. A man of principle and integrity, he cared about doing things right. If a picture on your wall was crooked, he would straighten it. If you had a weed in your garden, he pulled it. He loved to garden and was particularly fond of attracting pollinators. He made you groan with his dad jokes but also wasn't afraid to cry and show his feelings.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in the Cedar Room at the Fairfield Inn, Lebanon, TN on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Visitation at 11am. Service at noon with luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John's name to New Tribe Church (https://newtribe.church/give) or the Wilson County Master Gardeners (via check). Partlow Funeral Chapel is in care of arrangements. 615-444-7007 | www.partlowchapel.com
