John is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Elizabeth (Betty), by 3 children, John Hunter and wife, Debra of Saylorsburg, PA and Robert Hunter and wife, Dawn of Great Meadows, NJ, Susan Puente-Duany and husband, David of East Hanover, NJ, by seven grandchildren: David, Kelly, Sarah, Christopher, Alexander, Cody and Dylan and by two great grandchildren: Carter and Emerson.
Funeral services will be held 6:30PM Friday at Hancliffe Home for Funerals, 222 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07936. Visiting hours are Friday 3-7PM. Burial will be held 11AM Saturday at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth. Funeral procession will leave promptly at 10AM from Hancliffe Home for Funerals.
Memorial donations to the Hanover Presbyterian Church, 14 Hanover Road, East Hanover, NJ 07936 will be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
