John Mackie Ironside

We were saddened to learn of John´s passing. As we informed our children, they shared stories of John, who was our neighbor for almost 20 years. Our boys were 9 and 11 when Susan and John moved to our cup-de-sac and they recalled John showing them his prized Model T and telling them how he and his father had restored it together. My son Robb reminded us of John´s kindness, bringing him a water bottle on several occasions while he was outside working on our landscaping. John and Susan were always willing to share the stories of their latest travels and time spent with Lisa, Eric and their families. We hope the memories of these wonderful times together will bring comfort to Susan and the Ironside family.
