John "Jack" Cunningham, III

Cunningham John "Jack" III, passed away Friday, June 24th, at he age of 78. A graduate and proud alumnus of the Neshaminy Redskins, class of 1955, John followed his calling to protect and serve. He enlisted in the US Army and after his honorable discharge, joined the Middletown Police force where he served for 26 years until his retirement as Sergeant in 1990. John was a member of both the FOP Bucks County Lodge 53 and the Newtown Masonic Lodge 427. He was an avid golfer and outdoorsman. John is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Joan (nee Gumpert), their two children, Carol (Gary) Alexis and Thomas Cunningham, two cherished grandchildren, Abigail and Emily Alexis, and his brother Andy (Judy) Cunningham. Family and friends are invited to John's Life Celebration on Wednesday, June 29th, from 6-8PM and again on Thursday, June 30th, from 10-11AM followed by his Funeral Service at 11AM at the Dunn Givnish Life Celebration Home, 378 S. Bellevue Ave., Langhorne, PA 19047. Interment private.
