He was a great man who served his country long and proudly. A pro at flying the largest helicopter of his time. He told me he even got shot down in enemy territory and got back to safety. John used to say "it´s just the roll of the dice" when talking about how he survived and how life turns out! He loved his wife and respected her; when remembering her he´d say he ended up with "a good woman". John found it important to keep up your physical health and believed in daily workouts. Even gave me one of the CD´s we work out to till this day, still my favorite one! He´s was a one of a kind! He is greatly respected and looked up to by myself and more.
