John Randolph Jones, Sr

John “Randy” Randolph Jones Sr., 84, of Ivor, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. He was the son of the late John Paul Jones and Mary Virginia Edwards Jones. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jane Pittman Jones; sons, John “Johnny” Randolph Jones, Jr (Krista) and Douglas “Doug” Edward Jones; grandchildren, Kaylee Jones Wilson (Brad), Brooks Randolph Jones, John Paul Jones and Christian Tyler Jones; great grandchildren, Taylor Lindsay Wilson and Tanner Michael Wilson.

Randy graduated from Smithfield High School. He retired from Smithfield Packing after 43 years. In his retirement he loved to travel. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a Trustee and Deacon at Central Hill Baptist Church where he had attended his entire life.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, 11 a.m. at Central Hill Baptist Church burial will follow at 1:15 in Mill Swamp Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 7 at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA.
