Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. February 13, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Keei Ward in Kealakekua; funeral service begins at 10 a.m. followed by burial in Saints Family Cemetery in Keei. The family requests casual.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Kaaloa of Honaunau; sons, John (Piilani) Kaaloa of Mililani, Jarrel (Michelle) Kaaloa of Texas; daughters, Julie Kaaloa of Mt. View, Jaye (Brock) Kunz of Honaunau, Jana-marie (Zach) Naone of Kona, Jevon (Jason) Matsuyama of Kailua Kona; brother, Edward (Agnes) Kaaloa of Aiea, Oahu; sister, Haaheo Gilman of Waimanalo, Oahu; 20 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
