John Kaczmarczyk Obituary

John was a graduate of Wilmington High School, class of 1958, and proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He was employed at the Valero Refinery (formerly Getty and Texaco) through Millwrights Local 1545, having retired after more than 30 years of dedicated service. In his retirement years, John became a passionate golfer, playing as often as he could. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and crabbing. For many years, John was a member of St. Elizabeth Parish.
John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia (deCourcelle) Kaczmarczyk; his children, John A. III (Lori), Susan (Casey Gaines) and Amy; his grandchildren, Chloe and John IV; his brother, Charles (Tina); his sister-in-law, Cris.
He was predeceased by his brother, Anthony.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Friday, October 7 from 10:00 – 11:00AM. Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM, immediately followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery.
