John G. Keidel, 93, of Souderton, PA, formerly of Aldan, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024. He was the husband of Lorraine (Simpson) Keidel.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Bertha Keidel.
He graduated from Yeadon High School in 1948 and Pennsylvania Military College (now known as Widener University), Chester, PA, in 1963, where he received a degree in management. John was a Korean War veteran having served active duty in the U.S. Air Force.
He had worked for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company, retiring as Vice President in February 1994. After retiring, John moved to Ocean City, NJ and Cary, NC.
John was an active member with the Aldan Borough Council serving in many positions including Treasurer & Vice President.
He was a Master Mason affiliated with Lansdowne Lodge 711 F. & A.M. of Pennsylvania.
John was a lover of the beach, many family dogs and music, especially Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett.
He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife Lorraine, daughters Leslie Trepper (John), Kim Richter (the late Randall Richter), Erica Christman (Dave Campbell) and son George Christman (Rattana Jaima). Grandfather to Lisa Costello (Mike), Jeff Trepper (Karoline), Jacqui Richter, Chris Richter (Meghan), Kassidy, Ryan and Trent Campbell and GGpop to Zac & Ryan Costello, Maren & Evan Trepper
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 29, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969, where the family will receive friends from 10 – 10:45 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Avenue Sellersville, PA 18960. Gifts to Hospice Care - https://www.gvh.org/hospicegifts
