Big JACK! I remember him very well. Jack was a `larger´ than life individual and a great teammate and player for WVU. Condolences to the family. Gone way too soon! 80 - `87WVU

I´m truly saddened by the news of Jack´s passing. It´s been nearly 40 years since I banged head-to-head with him during WVU practices. It seems like it was only yesterday. My condolences to his friends and family. Rest peacefully Big Jack!

I met Jack 41 years ago through my cousin at hunting camp. All I can say is the good lord took a good one away as he was the kindest person. He became my brother, my friend and a hunting buddy over the last 41 years. His infectious laugh will never be forgotten! We were texting and talking last week about hunting camp and where we were going to hunt before I received the news the next morning. Hard to believe that a few hours after our conversation he was gone. Jack I love you like a brother. You are gone but will never be forgotten! RIP my brother until we meet again!

What an absolute amazing man with a big heart for youth and hunting! My family and I were blessed to meet Jack quite a few years ago, visit his museum, attend a few of the yearly gun drawings he held, and of course be introduced to his family's AMAZING cooking, in which I still will choose if ever in the area. Such a great guy and will be missed by many all over for sure. Thoughts and prayers coming from McConnellsburg, PA.
