I met John while I would be hanging out at my Aunt Ruth's house on Clemson Drive. I remember some fun times with him and his friend Stan Gelbaugh. One of my favorite memories was when my cousin Pam and I went tobogganing with them across from my Uncle Frank's house. I had the chance to reconnect with him at my Aunt Ruth's funeral a few years back. He was a really nice guy. May he rest in peace in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father. My sincere sympathies to his family.

John and I met in the `70s when he and his dad moved in next door to us on Clemson drive. We had too many good times to put down here and anyone who knew John knows what an adventure hanging out with him was. We lost touch later in life but he will always be counted as one of my best friends ever. Stan Gelbaugh
