Ernest MacLeod Obituary
Born on October 16, 1953 in Bath, ME, and raised in Maine, Ernie was the son of Ernest and Ruth (White) MacLeod.
He joined the US Navy during the Viet Nam War and later spent 30 years as a rigger, working for Louis Cote Millwright and Rigging Company.
Ernest was a hunting and fishing advocate and made it his life's work to make his wife and family happy.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Pitcher) MacLeod of Epsom; 2 children, Tammy Gilbert of Goffstown and Francis Gilbert of Manchester; 2 grandchildren; 5 brothers; 6 sisters; many nieces and nephews; and a good friend Bill Campbell.
SERVICES: Family and friends are gathering on Wednesday, June 8, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom. Services will take place at 11:30 a.m., followed by burial in NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to the NH Fish & Game Department, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH 03301.

There aren't enough positive adjectives to describe Ernie. Kind, honest, brave, loyal, generous, and the list goes on. Also his quick wit and mastery of words could make anyone and everyone laugh. I was privileged to become friends with the close and loving couple of Ernie and Linda. I will miss him. Joan Brody

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Linda, Tammy and Francis (Jing)for their loss. Ernie was a very funny guy and well loved by most that knew him and will be sorely missed. May God Bless you all and may God comfort you during your time of grief>
