John Michael Klavon

John Michael Klavon, 78, of Westerville was born on January 22, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He peacefully passed away in the early morning hours on September 11, 2025 surrounded by his only child, Michelle Lippincott (Klavon), Son-in-law, Paul and his sweetheart of 15 years, Barb Bickham.

Prior to his retirement John worked at AEP as a welder for 28 years. He loved the job and the crews he worked with at the various plants and has many fond memories of the guys and friendships made.

John is remembered as a kind, generous, selfless, loving Man. His family and friends can attest to making them a better person by just knowing John. His long time friend, Marty Gould, once said, if everyone was like John, there would be world peace.

John's many talents included his self-taught artful handiwork which was admired by many.

John loved and cherished the simple things of life, such as the outdoors, beautiful flowers and fishing with his longtime fishing buddies.

John will be deeply missed and cherished forever in our hearts.

Services to honor John?s life will be held at the convenience of thefamily. The Newcomer staff and family are honored to serve the Klavonand Lippincott families.

Donations may be made to John's favorite charities of St. Jude’s and Special Olympics.
