The world became a bit dimmer with the sad loss of John F. Kline, age 68 of the South Side, on Monday, November 21, 2022. John was a caring and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on December 7, 1953 to George and Lillian (Kurkowski) Kline, also of South Side. John was a hardworking man spending his career as an electrician for over 40 years. Always putting others before himself, he would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need without expecting anything in return. He enjoyed family vacations to Disney and Pigeon Forge as well as spending time in Pymatuning. You could find him feeding the deer or chasing his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, George J. Kline. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda (Oswald) Kline, children Stacy Kline, Carl (Jessica) Kline, Michael (Susie) Kline, and Pamela (Billy Young) Kline, sister Renie (Richard) Turzak and brother Butch (Dawn) Kline, as well as grandchildren William Young, Morgan and Karli Ellsworth, Eric, Claire, Christina, Lillian, Sophia, and Joseph Kline and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family and friends welcome Saturday 6-8, Sunday 2-8 pm, WM SLATER & SONS, INC. (412-381-3345) 301 Virginia Ave., Mt. Washington, PA 15211. Funeral mass Monday 10:00 am, Mary Queen of Peace Parish, St. Mary of the Mount Church. Memorials may be made to North Shenango Volunteer Fire Department, 2887 PA-285, Espyville, PA 16424.
