John Andrew Knox

John Andrew Knox, age 59, passed away unexpectedly the morning of December 11, 2025. John is survived by his mother, Paige; his brothers, Mike and Jesse; his daughters, Kasey and Kara, and by many other friends and family.

John loved the Michigan State Spartans, street tacos, Detroit Tigers baseball, Top Gun (1984), and, of course, Bud Light. John had a remarkable ability to bring people together, and those who met him never forgot him. He was unapologetically "John Knox" and made sure everyone knew it.

John called many places home. From his roots in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, to Rochester, Michigan, where he raised his daughters, Kara and Kasey, he was surrounded by an incredible community. Florida also held a special place in his life, where another close-knit group loved him deeply.

John will be remembered for his humor, his loyalty, and the way he showed up for the people he loved. His presence will be deeply missed and forever felt.
