John Wayne Kodiak was born 9/23/61 to Walt and Alicia (Alto) Mantor-Kodiak in Santa Clara, CA. John grew up in Homer, Alaska. John lived a full life of adventure. He was in the US Arny and then he commercial fished/crabbed on his father’s vessel, with his brothers. He also was a heavy equipment operator in the Pruhdoe Bay Alaska. He loved hunting and fishing, his wife Lorie, and their dogs. He had a heart of gold and would offer a helping hand to everyone who needed help. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Lorie of 33 yrs, siblings Wayne Mantor, Kathy Mantor, Bill Mantor; all residing in Washington. Preceded in death by his father Walt, his brother Tony and his sister Winter. John had a saving faith in Jesus Christ and now at rest.
