JOHN J. KOLAT, Sr. age 90, beloved husband for 66 years of Barbara A. (nee Adams); loving father of John, Jr. (wife Nina), Michael (wife Sue), Timothy (wife Doreen), and Karen; devoted grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 9; cherished son of the late Jack and Mary (nee Zoldak); dearest brother of the late Helen, Frank (wife Rose, deceased), Jacob (wife Violet), and George (wife Sharon); dear uncle and great-uncle of many. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of John to Cornerstone Community Church (1400 Lander Rd., Mayfield Hts.) or The City Mission (5310 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland). Family and friends are requested to meet for a Celebration of Life Service Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 11 AM at Cornerstone Community Church, 1400 Lander Rd., Mayfield Heights. Entombment following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of John at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
