Although I never had an opportunity to meet John in person, his warmth and caring came through online. He and I both shared experience working in the funeral industry, as well as a shared passion for a 1979 film "Phantasm." John loved to share photos of hearses with me. He also was a genuine, kind and spiritual person; a compassionate balm while I grieved the loss of "Phantasm's" Angus Scrimm--who had been like a mentor and father to me for decades. There was something quiet, intelligent, and compassionate about John in all his gently respectful communications. Hard to believe it's been a year now. I dearly miss John's friendship and that we never had a chance to meet. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

I am saddened to learn of John's passing. My condolences to Candace, family and friends.
John was one of my closest friends for many years. We had so many good times together, and if you were around John for more than five minutes he would have you laughing so hard your sides ached. He was so quick witted he always stood out in a group of people. John was alway good to me and helped me out with my military vehicles
over the years. He was that way with all his friends. He truly was multi talented in so many things. I'll miss John Krieg alot, but whenever I see his image it will bring a big smile to my face. God Bless You until we're together again.
