John Kritikos

John Kritikos, 65, of Schiller Park, went home to rest with the Lord on December 20, 2025. Born in Molai, Greece, on February 6, 1960 to Helen and the late Kostas Kritikos, John immigrated to the United States in 1973. He was the proud owner of the Family Palace Restaurant in Harwood Heights since 1981, where every day he greeted his customers with a smile, a laugh, and impeccable service.

Loving father of Nikolas (Cathleen) Kritikos, Dimitri Kritikos, Alexander John (Tessa) Kritikos; adored Papou to Yianni, Alexander, Anthony, Johnny, Marea, Jimmy, and Rocco Kritikos; beloved brother of Harry (Effie) Kritikos, Emmanuel (Bessie) Kritikos, George Kritikos, and Dimitri (Kathy) Kritikos; fond Theo, cousin, and friend to many.

He loved Greek music, muscle cars, rock 'n' roll, and cooking. His world revolved around his family, and there was nothing he loved more than making his grandkids laugh.
