John Stanley Kwiatkowski, 80, of Kimball, passed away in his home on September 19, 2016, after an extended illness. He was surrounded by his loving family, his good friend, Dale and his constant companion, Kitty Kat.
He was born December 13, 1935 in Pittsfield, PA, to the late Joseph P. and Mary (Stino) Kwiatkowski.
John was retired from the Navy after 20 years of faithful service. He then went on to work at the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier, retiring after 22 years. He also enjoyed working as a manager at the Conewango Club in Warren, PA, and the Chamber of Commerce in Lantana FL.
John was an avid bowler and enjoyed socializing with his friends at the bowling alley. He also enjoyed sitting out on his deck watching the wildlife, especially the birds and fishing in his pond.
He is survived by his daughters, Jolynn (John) Siebert and Julie (Mike) McCoy of Texas, son, John Stanley (Chris) Kwiatkowski Jr. of Idaho; two sisters, Mary Ann Morgan of Pennsylvania and Margaret (Bud) Abernathy of Florida; many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline Lee McCann, brothers, Frank J. Kwiatkowski and Joseph J. Kwiatkowski.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
