I did not have an opportunity to know John personally, however I'm aware of the family legacy he leaves behind and am proud to know them.
God be with the family during this time of sorrow.

My prayers are with all the family and friends of John. He was my Sunday School teacher when I was a child. I always thought he was one of the most wonderful men I have ever had the pleasure to know. My sister Pam and I were talking about him when she was here on Sat. We were talking about what memories we had of he and Gayle. Our family came here from Schenectady in 1955 with G.E. My dad Ray worked there too.

"We do not walk alone through sorrow
God is by our side,
So may you gather courage
From the strength He will provide."

Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family at this time of sorrow. Both John and Gayle were very special people in our lives. The first Sunday we attended Westminster Presbyterian Church, your parents came to visit us. A strong friendship was formed that day and it has extended through the years.
God be with you,
Louise and Paul Sweet
