John J. Leahy

My husband and I went on a New England cruise last year and we decided to stay in Boston for a few days before the cruise. We met John during that time and it was instant friendship. He graciously told us of some wonderful places to visit and invited us to go and listen to an outdoor concert at the Boston Library that Friday before we left on our cruise. He said that was one of his favorite things to do! We made sure we stayed in contact. He had mentioned going someplace for the holidays so we figured we´d hear back from him. It was only today when I decided to text him and reach out to say hi. That´s when we were informed. We felt when we met him - that we had known him for a long time already. We will miss him. Our sincere sympathies go out to all his family and many other friends.

I´ve known John for over 40 years. I would still run into him in the gym. Always his welcoming smile, quick wit, the same as when I met him all those years ago. My deepest sympathy to John´s family and friends. The feline world has lost a cherished friend.

I´m still processing the loss of John Leahy. He was a fixture in my daily life for years in the early 90s. From Randolph Country club, to Laguna beach, Hawaii, and Europe, John had a zest for life. Wonderful memories of John and his cat Krueger.

I've known John for over 3 decades and will never forget the kindness he always showed people. A sweet, smart, sensitive person who was smarter than most people gave him credit for. He will be missed.

I remember John from the 90´s in Boston. Always with the big smile on his face. Rest in peace, John.

So sorry to hear john`s passing. He was a good friend years ago and a kindred spirit may you and your whole family be comforted knowing that he just made me laugh and everyone around him rest in peace John.

I will always remember the travels and especially Hawaii. John always had a zest for adventure and a smile to go with it. Rest well John.

John was always our friend even after we moved from Boston a few years ago. We would see him at trophy room and catch up over a few drinks. We always picked up from where we left it. We offer our deepest condolences to John´s family and friends. He will be missed greatly. Much love to all.
