Survivors include his siblings, Glynda Fulford and Gene Lee (Bonnie), all of Brunswick, nephews, Todd Lee, Brent Edney (Reccie), Kyle Edney (Lori), and Tony Lee, and a niece, Wendy Pheil (David). John was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Thomas Lee and Maenolia Catherine Bell Lee, and a brother-in-law, Tommy Fulford.

John you will always be remembered as a brother to myself and Danny. You were a true friend and you always will be treated like family. John Lee wouldn't hurt no one, no matter who you were. John loved hunting and Fishing going to Ty Ty with me and Danny and Capt. John. Your going to be sadly missed my brother rest in peace .
