John J. Lenhart, 91, of Magnolia Avenue, Glen Burnie, Maryland, died Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Maryland. He was born in New Castle, PA, on December 24, 1934, a son of the late John and Sophie (Gumiezny) Lenhart. John worked on the assembly line as General Motors Burnie Highway Plant in Baltimore, MD, retiring after 35 years. He enjoyed woodworking, especially making whirley jigs and birdhouses.
He is survived by his wife, Marian E. (Matteo) Lenhart, one son, Edward Joseph, one step-son, Joey J. Lenhart, two brothers, Richard ‘Butch’ and Robert Lenhart, and one sister, Barbara Lenhart.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Denise Bott, one granddaughter, Amanda Bott, one son, Richard Joseph, and three brothers, James, William, and Walter Lenhart.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
