John Lesho Obituary
John was born on September 21, 1947, in Akron, OH to the late John Anthony Lesho, Sr. and the late Frances Louise (McClain) Lesho. He was a graduate of Ellet High School, where he excelled in sports, being named the #1 defensive player for the entire city during his senior year in 1966. John had a heart for children, especially those in need. He faithfully donated his time and resources to help feed, clothe and mentor youth in his community. He also was an animal lover, especially his cat Sammi. John was known to be somewhat of a goof ball, he prided himself on making people laugh. He was an avid University of Georgia Bulldawgs fan and was a very patriotic man who loved his country.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 50 years, Phyllis (Nichols) Lesho; sons: John A. Lesho, III (Meara) of Warner Robins, GA and James A. Lesho of Newnan, GA; grandchildren: Mitch and Alyssa Lesho of Warner Robins, GA; sister: Linda Dicker (Denny) of Sharpsburg, GA; niece: Karen Frady, and nephew, Eric Dicker.
