In memory of
Mary & Norm Kangas
July 6, 2006
Sue,
We met you and John because of our dogs. You were both mentors and kind and generous friends. Norm and I will miss John dearly. There is much we will miss about him, but for me, most of all, it is that wonderful bass voice. We shared a common love of music. The joy he felt when he sang showed in the sparkle his eyes and the smile on his face.
You and David are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Sue and Family,
I have been reading all the entries in the guest book. Although I do not know you and your family, I knew John and his older brother Harold from a long time ago when we lived on Buchanan Street NE., half a block from the Liemohns' house. The two boys and their parents were absolutely marvelous people!

Dear Sue and Family: Just this morning in the church announcements we discovered John has passed away. We feel deep sympathy for the loss as John was a good friend for many years meeting him through the church, playing softball, basketball and having his advise on financial matters. Dear Sue,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I know that John will be greatly missed. We go back a long way. First Tupperware(how many years ago?) and then our boys played ball together and we were BB mom's and then our paths crossed again at Curves... It's a small world and I know God will be with you to meet your needs and bring you blessing through all of your friends. God's Blessing be with you.
Love, Judie

Hi Sue,
Deann and I send our heartfelt sympathy in your loss of John. How often have we thought of him as we sing in our own Choir and remembering the years at OS with his deep bass voice coming from the back row. And our association in committees and building projects- John was always tenacious in making things happen. We too will share in your loss. So sorry that we will not be there to share in the memorial service on Saturday.

We'll never forget seeing him standing in the choir and - oh that voice! The sound came from his soul and touched the souls who heard him. And he touched so many, many people in awesome, real and genuine ways. Our thoughts are with you Sue and with your family. Our prayers are with all those who loved John. But we also smile when we think about the new adventure John is on! Peace to all of you.

Sue, words cannot express how great our loss of John, he will be so missed at work where he was always so nice to all of us there. It was always fun to take a quick break and converse about everyday events as well as knowing there was a caring and concerned ear to listen when it was needed. I was honored to call him my friend and look forward to the day I'll see him again in glory.
