John T. Lilley

My father and I had a great deal of respect and admiration for Mr. Lilly, and wish to offer his family our condolences. He was a wonderful soul, who was always a welcome sight at any scouting function. I will always be thankful for his integral help in my obtaining the rank of eagle scout. Rest in Peace, Mr. Lilly.

John was an interesting, warm and friendly man. He will be greatly missed. With deep sympathy and love to Kathy and the family.

I had Mr . Lilley for board drafting in 1967-1968. He was a great teacher but I always had the feeling he wasn't overly fond of girls in his classes! Looking back perhaps he felt they were a distraction to the boys. Even though I was "just" a girl I did consistently get A's and B's so he instructed well. He is one of the few teachers that I remember. Kathy Keyser Metko

Thoughts and prayers go out to the Lilley family. Mr. Lilley, the Scoutmaster, made a life long influence on me, and will always be remembered and treasured.
