John Howard Lowe

John Lowe, 77, of Climax, MN died Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the Luther Memorial Home, Mayville, ND.

John Lowe was born January 28, 1948 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Howard and Catherine (Collins) Lowe. He grew up in East Grand Forks graduating from East Grand Forks Senior High in 1967. He served his country in the US Army during the Viet Nam Conflict. Following his discharge he married Dorothy Bloom in Webster, ND on August 27, 1971. He worked for Muscatell Chevy in Fargo, ND. He then owned and operated Lowes Auto Sales in West Fargo. He traveled the United States with the BMX Bikes. They moved to Lake Lida, Pelican Rapids, MN. He loved to travel to Arizona during the winter months. He loved his dog Minnazona "AKA Baby Girl".

He is survived by his son Donald "Duck" (Jen) Lowe of Sharon, ND; granddaughter Ashlynn Bahr of Breckenridge, MN; three sisters, Mary Berglund, of Loveland, CO, Deborah (Ron) Kachena of Aberdeen, SD and Vicki Lowe of Brunswick, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Kay Moulton, and Julie Osowski-Baker, half-sister Marilyn Everett, brother David Lowe, 3 half-brothers, Doug, Jerry and Mike Lowe.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 PM, Monday, December 1, 2025 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721.

VISITATION: One hour prior to services at the funeral home.

INURNMENT: Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks in the spring of 2026.
