Thinking of you and your family with much love John as the anniversaries of your death approaches. I know you and Greg are making great music together in heaven. You are both certainly missed here on earth. Every time I see the Hollywood Slim Band or listen to one of their CD's (which is often), I think of all the wonderful memories I have of being with you and Margaret at the gigs. Rest in peace dear friend.

Every time I listen to The Hollywood Slim Band I fondly remember numerous occasions on which I sat with those two lovely people, John and Margaret Lucic, listening to and watching their sons Greg and John bring to life the magic of mostly blues and jazz music. I remember the love, pride and joy they felt on those occasions. I miss seeing them at the performances. They will ALWAYS have a very special place in my heart.

John, I remember you telling me that our dads were in the same division in the Army during WWII. I always thought that was amazing.
How lucky you are to have so many years with so many great memories with your dad.
You dad was a good man who will be missed by many. You should be proud.
Your friend,
Doug Siloy

I am the former and retired Chief, Special Procedures Branch, IRS. John was in our Branch before he retired from IRS. His work and character was always of a very high caliber. His retirement was our loss.
I considered John a good friend, and I was most sad to hear of his passing, but, at the same time, I'm glad to know that he made it to 97.
John, may you rest in peace.

John and Mary Carol,
How saddened I was to here of Mr. Lucic's passing! My deepest sympathies to you both. He must have been quite the guy to have fathered a son like John. May the present pain soon pass with positive memories of the past. Miss you John and our "discussions".
