Theodosia, you may not remember me after so many years. You and Admiral Adair graciously gave Skip Hunter and me (Lula Potter Hunter) a wedding reception in your home June 1979. I worked for Central Fidelity, and my husband Capt. Harold C Hunter USN (now retired) worked at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth----you and Admiral Adair were wonderful hosts, so many of our friends joined us that night, a memorable occasion. I am so sorry that you lost your love, Admiral Adair. I remember how happy you were when you and Admiral Adair decided to be married. He was a good man. Though it is heartbreaking to lose a loved one, it is a blessing to live a long life, such as your husband Admiral Adair and brother John . Both served the community in so many ways-. Left are wonderful memories. Please accept our sincere condolences and may God Bless you and your family everyday.

Dear Betsy,
My heartfelt prayers go out to you today. I know how difficult a time this is. John is physically gone, but your precious memories will live forever. Your love for each other was very special and because of that love you both were a light to everyone around you. Have Henry and Candy give you a hug from me. Love, Alice
