John was one of those people who lit up a room as soon as he entered. He immediately put people at ease and made them feel remarkable. Such was our experience when we first met him 8 years ago.
Subsequently, John and Maureen became special friends. Shortly after arriving in The Villages, they welcomed us into their group of friends. More than just friends, they treated us as family. We cherished their friendship then and it continues today.
We were extremely saddened when John passed away. We felt then and still feel that we lost a brother. It hurts to turn around to find he's no longer there.
There is no doubt in our mind that John is living with God in his heavenly kingdom. We also know that he is "working the heavenly room", making friends and waiting patiently for his beautiful Maureen.
God bless you John. You are loved. Anne & Jim LoBue

John was one of the warmest, most welcoming people we've ever known. It was such a blessing to consider John and Maureen friends. He will be missed in flesh but will be with us in spirit and guidance for the remainder of our lives. God Bless the new Angel in Heaven.

You have taught a lot of people in your life, me included, on the value of service and humility to your fellow human beings which makes your life a valuable asset to your family, friends, and fellow Knights. I know I will treasure the things I´ve learned, and I believe others that know you will say the same.
