John Magnotta 90, of Toms River (Lake Hiawatha, NJ Parsippany NJ Hemlock Farms, PA), NJ passed away on September 28, 2025.

John was a loving husband to Madeline (Ott) Magnotta celebrating their 67th anniversary on April 19, 2025. He was born on September 23, 1935, in Orange, NJ, the son of Angelo and Clotilde Magnotta.

We have been blessed to have John as the patriarch of our family and will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Madeline his four sons and 4 daughters-in-laws John and Carlyon Magnotta, Steven and Lisa Magnotta, Kevin and Sue Magnotta, Greg and Michele Magnotta, and their FOURTEEN grandchildren, Megan, Michael, Mark, Alexa, Makenzie, Payton, John, Danielle, Kevin, Sean, Erin, Brandon, Cole, Mia and his NINE great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Philomena "Aunt Phil" and predeceased by his brother Carmine.

He worked at Automatic Switch Company in Florham Park, NJ for 42 years. He was a life member of the Lake Hiawatha Fire Department District 4 and a charter member of the Knight of Coumbus in Lords Valley, PA. He cherished spending time with his large family and especially all who gathered on Christmas Eve throughout the years. He was an amazing cook and had all his children, their spouses and grandchildren on speed dial calling them often as he cherished them all filling him in on their endeavors and ended each call "I love you and your family".

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, October 5, 2025 2:00pm – 6:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, October 6, 2025 10:00am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.
