John Charles Maimone, 85, of Eustis, FL, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a commitment to his community.
A graduate of the Palmer School of Chiropractic in 1964, John dedicated 35 years of his life to helping others as a local chiropractor. His passion for wellness and healing extended far beyond his office walls as he touched countless lives through his care and compassion.
John was also a pillar of his community, serving as a Past Member and Past President of the Eustis Rotary Club, where his leadership reflected his love for service. He was a proud member of the Elks Club, devoted to bringing people together and strengthening bonds within Eustis.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Loretta Maimone, and is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Maimone, and son, Shawn Clark. John also cherished his two grandchildren, Nicole Maimone and Stetson Clark, as well as his great-grandchild, Coty Mae Clark. John was pre-deceased by his son, Gregory Maimone.
But John’s life was so much more than his achievements. Known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, he had a unique way of making everyone around him smile. An aficionado of restoration, John spent countless hours breathing new life into antique cars, transforming them into timeless treasures. His love for adventure was just as strong—whether riding motorcycles or taking trips to the scenic mountains of North Carolina with his friends, he was always chasing freedom and the open road.
John’s life was defined by his dedication to his family, friends, and the community he cherished so dearly. His warmth, humor, and zest for life will be deeply missed but will live on in the stories and memories shared by those who had the honor of knowing him.
A celebration of John’s incredible life will be held on February 22nd, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at First Baptist Church, Umatilla. Please join us as we come together to honor the man who left an indelible mark on all of our lives.
